Testimonials
Wonderful space
“I was so impressed with this gallery. The space itself is beautiful and the artwork is world-class. My partner and I enjoyed a cup of coffee and a treat in the bright café. We didn’t stay for lunch, but the food looked delicious. I would highly recommend the gallery and the café!”
First Time
“Wonderful collection of art from around the world in an outstanding building. A must see if in the area or make it a destination.”
First-rate art gallery
“This is a first-rate art gallery, with modern, elegant interiors, and it’s much larger than you would have predicted for a small town in Assiniboia.”
Stunning!
“It is worth a seven-hour drive from Calgary to visit the Shurniak Art Gallery? ABSOLUTELY! Every object, every painting on display was best-in-class. I’ve been to a number of European and North American galleries, but can honestly say I have enjoyed none more than the Shurniak. Asian items in particular are noteworthy, but the Canadian items are also some of the most beautiful and memorable I have seen.”
